William Skinner & Son recently completed the first part of a major new contract to design & build two Tree Houses for UK Company DeVere Venues. DeVere management commented, ‘Absolutely breathtaking, it has completely exceeded everyone’s expectations, William Skinner have done an outstanding job.’ The Tree House is available for a variety of business meetings and brainstorming sessions and is set to become one of our most exclusive retreats for corporate gatherings.

William Skinner are now a fully accredited installer of solar hot water systems under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. This means that we have met the standards required and our customers can obtain grants from the Government - £400 in England or 30% in Scotland.

The William Skinner stand at the Ayr Flower Show proved to be a big success and generated enquiries for solar hot water, metalwork and joinery items including tree house construction. As a demonstration of their support for the environment William Skinner have recently manufactured 20 nest boxes in their workshops for free issue to local schools and charities.

As part of a long term commitment to assist the Prestwick base of the Click Sergeant Children's cancer care charity William Skinner have recently carried out painting works and provided party food.
